Golden wedding card

I made this last month for my Mum & Dad's Golden wedding anniversary
It opened into a folded card which was a nightmare to photograph, the colours are much better in real life but it was too wet to take the photos outside

 

The layers were all either embossed or had papers attached so the card took an age to make but I was happy with it in the end

Thank you Lisa @ Ella's Designs for the card idea as we made a similar one in a workshop previously

Hope you are having a nicer day than us today as it is very cold & dull here, tons to do but only managed the ironing & a power nap so far today so nothing really constructive done but hey ho, always tomorrow

I loved colouring up this image but because I was kindly asked to clear my craft stuff off the table as we hadn't see it since New Year, I couldn't find anything to stamp a sentiment - it never pays to tidy up !!!!

60th card for neighbour

Last minute.com

Just found out that my neighbour is 60 tomorrow so have had to scrabble a card together this afternoon

 

 

I made this using a Polkadoodles Twiggy & Toots CD which I am ashamed to say has been in it's wrapper for a few months but will now be thoroughly looked at when I have chance

The roses were rescued from a flower box I have had for eons but never seems to go down

Leafy bits were snipped away from a large Tattered Lace die

Lace has been hidden away in a box for eons too but is starting to surface in my cards

It's not me without a sprinkling of glitter
