Well under 3 weeks to go & I have finally finished my Christmas cards but not all written out, tick list & yellow highlighter so I know what I have done as i've counted the people & cards made 3 times !!!

Be glad when this blooming year is over & done with as it's certainly not been a good one for anyone, let's hope next year I can at least have a few things planned in my diary as this years has not been worth using

I love promarkers #423

Well it's been another mad week

My son has been looking after a cat for a few months who has adopted him at his unit, it was bitten on his back by a rat 2 years ago so he has a very wonky walk & run, has head tremors & has bad co-ordination, the owners abandonded him due to being 'not right' & the people who took him on said it would only be temporary as they already had 6 cats

Well me being the soft touch decided it was getting too cold to be living in a unit & agreed to him coming home thinking he'd get on with my 2 cats being so docile, Friday night he came home, had a bath to get rid of all the grease & general car muck he's picked up then settled in, my 2 were very wary of him understandably

Well my days since then it feel like its been 24/7, to stop him going out of the cat flap he's in my son's bedroom at night but at 3.30 he decides to eat which entails skidding his bowl around his tray as his head bobs 5 times before he actually manages to pick up his biscuits, then when my son gets up he goes to the garden on a lead so he doesn't escape, he's very heavy footed so you hear him plodding on the laminate, he crashes down when he jumps off the settee & i'm terrified he'll fall down the stairs as he trips going up

Monday & Tuesday it was like watching a toddler as I have to follow him to the kitchen to make sure his doesn't escape the cat flap then watch him when he goes into my craft room as it has no door & if he goes upstairs as I can't shut the doors because of my 2, well I'm absolutely shattered & we decided last night he has to go back to the unit as with me having MS I've fallen over him 3 times & being on my own during the day wandering after him is totally wiping me out plus once I fall I can't get up on my own

I can't get anything done including crafting as I can't leave him so we have no food in the house - the fridge is bare

He's a lovely cat but would suit an old lady that has no pets as he just wants fuss but is too curious looking for my 2 who are in hiding all the time which isn't fair on them, if he goes on your knee for cuddles he can stay for hours but then i'm stuck, my son now has to find a kennel or something to keep him warm overnight during the winter as it looks like he's stopping with him in the unit as he won't give him away

What a strange week we have had up here in lockdown North Wales already, went shopping on Monday & the amount off 'non essential' aisles cordoned off was stupid as I would of classed loads as essential to lots of people, the world has gone absolutely bonkers !!!

Wow aren't these weeks flying by, hope you are all keeping safe & well, although I am now out of shielding for Wales I am still reluctant to venture out any further than the local Aldi or Lidl as I can whizz round them very quickly, well as fast as my dodgy leg will allow me

I have used my trustee promarkers

I used a 6 x 6 card because I decided on a jigsaw puzzle, I used my scan n cut to cut out the complete jigsaw, I was going to take a piece out of the middle but my card slipped right at the end so this piece on the edge was slightly disfigured so I had to use it, although inked round the edges with distress inks, the piece doesn't stand out very well on my photo

I also used a circle from my LOTV pad which I did punch out

Mats were cut in lilac & silver but don't show very well

Another fortnight has absolutely flown by again, can't believe its nearly August
We're supposed to be going to France next Friday but due to covid we've had to cancel everything then decided as we're not going & we haven't liked our caravan since we got it 18 months ago we would sell it, 2 days of clearing everything out & cleaning inside & out the dealer we bought it from bought it back - the cheeky sod has put it back up for sale 1k more than he originally sold it to us as caravans are money makers at the minute for dealers

Well I don't know about where you are but the weather here in North Wales is really grotty at the minute with rain, i'm glad I'm stuck indoors to be honest although having a backache & stiff fingers I'm not able to do too much crafting in one sitting

I created the stripes then regretted it as I started colouring but they turned out ok in the end

I have used a decoupage from an old La Pashe CD of the gran knitting as I thought it was cute to go with the over sized jumper
